BALTIMORE, MD – September 29, 2011 – Mind Over Machines, Inc., a Maryland-based information systems provider to commercial and government clients, has been named to the 2011 Inc. 5000 list, an annual ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies.
Joining the list for the fourth year in a row, Mind Over Machines earned the position of No. 3806. For more than 30 years, the Inc. 5000 list has highlighted the significant accomplishments of enterprises nationwide. Key components of the Inc. 5000 ranking included Mind Over Machines 38 percent three-year growth where revenue increased from $7.3 million in 2007 to $10.2 million in 2010.
“It’s an honor to be recognized in the Inc. 5000 list,” said Tom Loveland, Founder & CEO, Mind Over Machines. “Our growth can be attributed to Mind Over Machines’ successful three-pronged approach: we align business analysis, human insight and technology development to create often game-changing solutions that help our clients gain competitive advantage.”
The 2011 Inc. 5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2007 through 2010. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2007. Additionally, they had to be based in the United States, privately held, for profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of December 31, 2010. The minimum revenue required for 2007 is $100,000; the minimum for 2010 is $2 million. Revenue figures given in the company profiles are for calendar years, as are employee counts. Full-time and part-time employees are included in the employee counts; independent contractors are not.
