We are proud to announce that Mind Over Machines was appraised at Maturity Level 2 (ML2) of the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Model for Development.  

What does this mouthful mean?

CMMI is an internationally recognized and acclaimed model for appraising system and software development practices.

Developed by the Software Engineering Institute at Carnegie Mellon University, CMMI ensures that projects are accurately defined, managed, and implemented. 

The model also increases the likelihood that requirements are met and goals are achieved within established timelines and budgets.

This latest recognition places Mind Over Machines in a select group of software companies worldwide who have achieved this maturity level for their work processes.

Why is this important?

This rating validates that we have established a well-defined, repeatable set of standards for project management, software engineering, and quality assurance that are tailored to and used on client projects in a systematic, disciplined, and quantifiable manner.

What makes this achievement extra special?

We weren’t forced to do this.  We wanted to implement CMMI ML-2 processes to reinforce our commitment to excellence, efficiency, and continuous process improvement.
